Zaw Purveyor Feature

If you’ve read much of anything about Zaw, you know about our commitment to bringing you pizza that’s full of SOUL. Our ingredients are seasonal, organic, unique and local — as much as we possibly can! In order to keep this dedication, we need purveyors that have the same standards for quality. That’s why we chose Freybe for the number one most common pizza topping after cheese… pepperoni!

In their words, “If trends and the times have changed, our commitment to meticulous craftsmanship, exquisite flavour and the finest imported ingredients have not. We still opt to craft our meats with absolute care, using only the finest cuts and imported ingredients.” That’s some serious soul.

The pepperoni we source from Freybe is lactose- and gluten-free, as well as being super high in protein. Like Zaw, they don’t make any illusions about their ingredients. They are up-front and honest, down to the smoke used to create the all-natural pepperoni flavor. Plus, they’re local-ish to the Pacific Northwest, being located just over the border in Vancouver, Canada.

Freybe’s salamis, sausages and snacks have won hundreds of awards as well, so their quality is backed by many others. In our opinion, it’s basically the very best pepperoni, ever. And being in the pizza business, you can bet that we’ve tried a lot of pepperoni so we know what we’re talking about.
